Join us from 2 to 4 p.m. on Monday & Tuesday, August 7 & 8, at Hardwood Creek Library for a two-day program inviting children to explore the role of science, technology, engineering, and math in sports. Registrants must be able to attend both Monday, August 7 and Tuesday, August 8.  Parent/guardian must sign liability form the day of the first program in order for child to attend. Through active, hands-on learning, students discover what athletes need to be physically fit, mentally fit, and properly equipped to excel. At the same time, students learn how athletes are supported by a large network of STEM professionals. Most students know that athletic ability leads to success in sports, but this program shows them that science is another way to get in the game! Participants must be going into grades 4 or 5. Registration required.
