Washington County Library offers volunteer opportunities for teens and adults. By sharing time, interests and abilities, Washington County Library volunteers inspire curiosity, champion innovation, spark opportunity and make meaningful contributions to the library, the community, and their own lives.
Not all Washington County Library branches are currently accepting volunteers. For more information, contact the branch where you are interested in volunteering. Volunteers should be 14 years of age or older.
Your tasks at the library will be developed with your branch's volunteer coordinator, based on the library's needs and your interests and abilities. Example volunteer tasks include:
Returning materials to library shelves
Keeping the collection organized
Assisting with library events and programs
Keeping the library tidy and presentable
Making library customers' visits welcoming and successful
Conducting in-library surveys
