Join us from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, at R.H. Stafford Library for a celebration honoring Washington County Library’s 50th anniversary. Washington County Library is partnering with the Woodbury Community Theatre to celebrate the theme “Bringing Stories to Life for 50 Years.” At 1 p.m., new learning toys and materials for the library’s children’s area will be unveiled. From 1 to 2:30 p.m., activities will include:
• A meet and greet, including photo opportunities, with storybook princesses, knights, and other favorite characters
• Storytimes every 20 minutes
• Free play in the children’s area
• Button making and coloring
From 2:30 to 3 p.m., the Merrill Community Arts Center and Woodbury Community Theatre will present a special musical performance for the holiday season. Attendees will receive a gift bag following the performance. The celebration is free and open to the public.
