The newly-renovated Valley Library will host a grand opening celebration on Saturday, January 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
To celebrate the new library, community members are invited to join county officials and library staff for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m.
Throughout the day, staff will host pop up storytimes for kids and offer informal tours of the new building. Streetcorner Letterpress will also have their 100-year-old letterpress running with a special design commemorating the new library.
The new Valley Library is larger, with two meeting rooms, movable furniture, a children’s area with tiered seating for programs and storytimes. The space also has two accessible bathrooms with diaper-changing stations and an expanded staff work area.
We hope to see you there!
