The outline for the new Wildwood Library is taking shape!

In late October, contractors started putting up the steel beams and supports for the building. They are also working on completing the utilities, parking lot, and final grading for the site.

In the next several weeks, they'll install the concrete curb and asphalt parking lot on the site. They'll also pour the concrete slab for the mechanical systems.

The city of Mahtomedi has also installed a large storm sewer that will improve drainage on the site. Heavy rain slowed progress on this part of the project, but it's now operating and connected to other utilities under County Highway 12.
