Summer Reading 2018 has concluded. See you in 2019!

Tic Tac Teen

It’s game on at Washington County Library this summer with Tic-Tac-Teen!

To participate in Tic-Tac-Teen (June 9 to August 11, 2018), pick up a teen program brochure with the Tic-Tac-Teen game card. “X” three spaces in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) to complete the challenge. Turn in your game card to earn a reward book!

Complete the book review activity to enter a drawing for more prizes, including:

  • Tickets to the Minnesota State Fair
  • Tickets to a Minnesota Twins “Reading All Stars” game. Game dates are Sept. 7 at 7:10 p.m., Sept. 9 at 1:10 p.m., Sept. 10 at 7:10 p.m., and Sept. 11 at 7:10 p.m.
  • A Fandango movie gift card

Summer is a great time to read titles for Teen Book Ballots, so you can vote for your favorites during Teen Read Month in October. Pick up a bookmark at the library for a list of 2018 nominated titles, or find a full list online.

You can also attend teen programs at the library! Learn something new, create an art project, or attend a book club. Find a complete calendar of events at www.WashCoLib.org/Events.

And don’t forget about our summer reading programs for kids and adults!

Tic-Tac-Teen is made possible by the cooperation of Washington County; Washington County Library; MELSA, the Metropolitan Library Service Agency; and the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Additional sponsors include KARE 11, the Minnesota State Fair, the Minnesota Twins, and the Star Tribune.
