Use Library Express

The Library Express lockers at Marine Community Library and Hugo City Hall will be unavailable through late November while they are being upgraded.

Users can continue to return books at both locations, but will need to pick up library materials at another location. If you have any questions, contact your local branch or send us an email at AskALibrarian@washcolib.libanswers.com

Newport Library Express

Marine Library Express

Lockers Express lockers at Marine are currently unavailable.

Hugo Library Express

Hugo Lockers are currently under construction.
Washington County Library has three Library Express locations where you can pick up and return your library materials 24/7. All you need is a library card and an email account.

How to use Library Express:
  1. Request titles from the library catalog.
  2. Select a convenient Library Express as your pickup point.
  3. The library will send you an e-mail when your materials are available for pickup. You have three days to pick up your material. 
  4. Go to the lockers and follow the instructions on the keypad.
  5. Enter the last four digits of the library card used to place the request.
  6. Press "enter." The assigned locker(s) opens automatically. 
  7. Remove your items from the locker. Your items are already checked out.
  8. Close the locker door.
  9. Return materials to the Library Express book return or any public library in the Twin Cities metro area.
